Year ‘round academics instructor needed to teach academics to youth ages 16-24 to enable them to obtain their GED and/or High School Diploma. Essential functions will include the following:
- Develop and prepare lessons
- Recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials
- Administer and correct tests
- Maintain progress and attendance reports
- Develop and conduct enrichment programs as assigned
- Participate in student activities associated with the intellectual and social development of students
- Assist in developing community linkages and volunteers for department
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned
- $44,797.58 annual salary + benefits package that includes company paid and optional benefits, paid holidays, vacations, and sick leave.
Candidate must have a valid State of Oregon teaching certification and driver’s license in state of residence with an acceptable driving record. Computer proficiency required. One year instructional experience preferred.
